A vintage yacht reimagined as a small hotel suite on the water. A place to gather, stay awhile, and listen.

The bow was transformed into a listening lounge. In the parlor, we rebuilt the banquette to feel closer to a residential sofa than a diner booth. Every tiled surface was redone in Fireclay in partnership with local makers, while the original teak took nearly a year to restore, layer by layer, after decades beneath thick paint.

What began as a restoration became something larger: a place for people to experience our design point of view firsthand, outside the private homes we typically design behind closed doors.
